About Us

The MSA Group traces its origins to 1990, when CH & Associates PLT began as Y.S. Koh & Co., a sole proprietorship established, a Chartered Accountant based in Kuala Lumpur. At its inception, the firm focused on providing accounting, audit, and taxation services primarily to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as close professional associates. Over time, the practice expanded its scope of services and developed experience in corporate tax investigations and insolvency-related engagements. As the team and client base grew, the firm relocated to Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

In 2008, the practice merged the Daniel Tan & Co., strengthening its professional capabilities and leading to the establishment of a branch office in Johor Bahru. In the same year, the firm continued to grow with a team of professionals specialising in audit, taxation, and insolvency, supported by dedicated administrative personnel. 

In 2015, the partnership was restructured and continued under the name CH & Associates. The practice was subsequently converted into a limited liability partnership and now operates as CH & Associates PLT.

Today, CH &Associate PLT is part of the MSA Group, a group of professional firms operating under a common brand and united by a shared commitment to delivering practical, reliable, and client-focused professional services.
